With the expansion of Lönne Service within the Lönne Group, the final link in the Lönne value chain of products, solutions and service is in place. With six workshops and its own carbon brush department, the Lönne Group has become one of Norway’s largest and most complete service suppliers of electric motors and generators. Safe and efficient, Lönne offers services 24/7 to the Norwegian oil and gas industry from local departments in Drammen, Kristiansand, Moss, Stavanger, Bergen and Trondheim.

The goal is to present a solution within a few hours of receiving the customer’s call. Transport is an important precondition for quickly repairing products that have broken down. Through established and good connections in the transport industry, with people who are used to pulling out all the stops in an emergency situation, Lönne provides a safe and quick transfer of equipment to the workshop.

The company’s workshop in Moss is one of the best equipped of its kind in Europe, with the largest lathe able to handle up to 6m blanks weighing up to 10t, with diameters of up to 1,700mm, and machining them down to 1,300mm. It is also equipped with a balancing bench that can handle static and dynamic balancing of up to 5m blanks weighing up to 15t with a diameter of 2,400mm.Using advanced equipment, Lönne Service can detect electrical and mechanical faults before the machinery fails. Vibration measurements and analyses, insulation measurements and laser alignment are some of the preventive services that can be carried out on site.
